FORKLIFT TRAINING

This course is designed to help you maintain forklifts in a safe manner, protecting yourself and your coworkers from the potential hazards associated with their use.  Our counterbalanced forklifts course aims to reduce the risks related to sit-down, vertical mast forklifts by teaching you how to become a safe lift truck operator.

The forklift counter balance course covers the following topics:

WORKING AT HEIGHTS TRAINING

Falls are one of the leading causes of injury and death at the work site. The good news is that there are plenty of fall protection systems to prevent fall hazards and injuries. However, fall protection is only affective if you know how to use it. Our working at heights course is designed to teach you the basics for effectively using, inspecting, and planning for fall protection.

WHMIS TRAINING

This WHMIS 2015 GH% course informs the learner of the standards established by the United Nations for the safe manufacturing and handling of chemicals. Important classification update areas include Flammable Gases, Aerosols, Chemicals Under Pressure, Corrosive/Irritants and amendments to the Hazardous Products Regulations.

LOCKOUT/TAGOUT TRAINING

Failure to lock out machinery before servicing it is a major cause of injury and death. These accidents can be prevented by establishing and following an effective lockout and tagout program. This Lockout/Tagout course is suitable for all employees who need to work around potentially dangerous equipment

The lockout/tagout course covers the following topics:

  • Explain the purpose of lockout/tagout
  • List different forms of hazarous energy
  • Identify who is covered and what activities are covered by the lockout/tagout standard
